Paul Calandra Acclaimed as Ontario PC Party Candidate for Markham-Stouffville

MARKHAM-STOUFFVILLE – Today, the Ontario PC Party announced that Paul Calandra has been acclaimed as the party’s candidate for Markham-Stouffville in the next provincial general election.

Since his election as MPP in 2018, Paul Calandra has delivered significant results for Markham-Stouffville. This includes advocating for improved public transit, such as the expansion of GO Train service with more than 300 additional trips each week and the introduction of the One Fare program, which saves transit users an average of $1,600 annually. He has also worked to expand internet access and advanced critical water infrastructure to accommodate 8,000 new homes in the region.

“Paul Calandra is an outstanding leader and a true champion for Markham-Stouffville,” said Doug Ford, Leader of the Ontario PC Party. “From improving local infrastructure to addressing the housing crisis and reducing costs for families, Paul is delivering results that make a real difference. I’m thrilled to have him on our team as we continue building a better future for Ontario.”
